To best prepare your stay, I give you 5 travel tips to come to the Ardennes Valley.
01
Find out more on the tourist office website to prepare your trip
Create your itinerary and book your accommodations in advance: there's a wide selection (hotels, campsites, lodges, guesthouses). And the same goes for activities; ask us for details! The tourist office can help you find the best option for you.
02
Check the weather
In spring and summer, it's often hot in the Ardennes, but there are occasional rainy days. So, check the weather forecast before you come and always bring rain gear and an umbrella. But most importantly, don't forget your sunscreen and a hat! Don't worry, there's still plenty to do even on rainy days.
03
Wear good shoes
What could be more ideal than discovering a place by walking through it? Put on your best hiking boots and set off to explore the sites, monuments, and landscapes of the Ardennes Valley.
04
Find out about local events
Check the local calendar to take advantage of markets, village festivals, summer events or hikes organized in the area.
05
Respect nature
The Ardennes Valley is full of natural spaces and landscapes; they must be preserved and left as they are! Avoid straying from marked trails and follow the signs, do not light fires or smoke in the forest, do not dispose of your waste unless it is in a bin, and do not pick plants.
