In Haybes, the regional natural park has set up a conservatory orchard. Its particularity: Being only composed of local fruit varieties, threatened with extinction.
In this space open to the public, 120 trees of 40 varieties of apples, pears, plums and cherries have been planted. It is also a refuge for fauna and flora: Bats, owls, sparrows find refuge there in the nesting boxes. or shelters arranged in place. Note: The regional natural park invites you to walk on the educational trails from April to the end of September, accompanied by an explanatory booklet available on site. The conservatory orchard of Haybes is open every day from 9 a.m. to 19 p.m. FREE ENTRANCE.
