The collegiate church of Saint Ermel: 

An immersion in the oldest church in the region Val d'Ardenne, are you interested? The oldest remains of the collegiate de Vireux-Molhain dedicated to Saint Ermel date from the 8th century. Founded by Dama Ana in 752, discover the crypt in blue stone columns pre-Romanesque style. It is said that Pepin the Short would be buried there, even if no document proves it...

This building was for a long time a pilgrimage site where the relics of Saint Ermel, missionary bishop of pagus aduinnensis civitas leodiensis.

The medieval village of Hierges: 

An experience not to be missed if you don't mind the cold, visible on the road between Vireux-Molhain et Given. Come and make a magnificent balade by discovering the medieval village of Hierges. Explore this village dating back more than 1000 years, built from blue stone and slate, characteristic of our beautiful region

During the winter season the Michel Paradon Slate Museum is one of the only museums open, to discover October 22 to January 22 or April 28 to September 28. Discover it slate worker's trade... 

This former carmelite convent was rehabilitated as a museum in order to allow you to discover the follow-up slater workers.
