How tiny we feel in front of this Saint-Georges church...Dimensions: 62 m long, 20 m wide and 70 m high. Built from 1872 to 1876 on the site of the old church which already existed in 1439, it has 1200 seats. The building is entirely built in limestone from Dom-le-Mesnil and the polygonal spire of the bell tower, surrounded by 4 pinnacles, is in Jaumont stone. Please note: The church is only open to the public during religious services.
