Inside we discover magnificent stained glass windows donated by the various Fumacian Brotherhoods.
How tiny one feels in front of this Saint-Georges church...Dimensions: 62 m long, 20 m wide and 70 m high. Built from 1872 to 1876 on the site of the old church which already existed in 1439, it has 1200 seats. The building is entirely built in limestone cut stone from Dom-le-Mesnil and the polygonal spire of the bell tower, flanked by 4 pinnacles, is made of Jaumont stone. Note: The church is only open to the public during religious services.
