Description

An ideal family route, the Trans-Ardennes Greenway runs along the Meuse on the old towpath and takes you through different landscapes: gentle countryside, bucolic landscapes, then deep valley, forests and legendary rocks. Also discover Charleville-Mézières and Sedan, Princely Towns, and Towns of Art and History, Mouzon and Givet and their medieval streets. Finally, take to the heights in Monthermé to see the landscape of the pearl of the Ardennes, in its meander of the Meuse.
For a family walk or an itinerant stay, the Trans-Ardennes Greenway awaits you.
And if the Meuse appeals to you, follow it from Langres and Pouilly-en-Bassigny (source) to Rotterdam (mouth) all along the Meuse by bike, EuroVelo 19.
