Le Risdoux – VTT FFC n°20
A long circuit with varied landscapes, crossing woods, streams, villages and meadows from the banks of the Meuse to the heights of the Ardennes plateau.

Description
D/A Reach the Meuse and follow the Voie Verte to the right for 4 km. At the Château du Risdoux (lodging), turn right and pass between the buildings. Follow the forest path along the Risdoux stream for 3,8 km.
1 Turn right at the wide crossroads and follow the path along the Risdoux for 2,5 km. Coming out of the woods, take the RD989 to the right for 450 m. Turn left at the top of the hill before entering Hargnies.
2 Turn right. At the end of the path go down the road to the left then follow the street to the right and reach Place de Launet.
3 Direction Haybes (RD7) for 1 m. After 100 bends, leave the road for the stony path climbing to the left.
4 Go left at the intersection (benches set up nearby). Pass the power lines and follow the forest track due south. Further on a single-track slalom
between birches parallel to a path. Keep the same direction at the intersection.
5 At the Buisson de la Douane square near the RD989, take the forest path leading into the woods. At the intersection continue straight ahead.
6 Cross the road. Turn right at the end of the path to follow the ditch for 320m then turn left and join the Cinquièmes forest road and follow it to the right for 1,5 km.
7 Leave the road by crossing the ditch, walk along the fence and reach the Chêne de la Nation (remarkable tree). Continue north-west on a narrow path with multiple bumps and fork to the right via a small footbridge to join the "turbulent" path of the Voie Baudale.
8 Pass the “André CUNIN viewpoint” sign. [Possible access to TerrAltitude Park]. Shortly after the paragliders' point of view, take a steep singletrack to the right [Many stones and roots]. Reach the Platale viewpoint via the path along the road and slaloming between the oaks.
9 From La Platale, cross the road, go through the undergrowth, turn left and go behind the restaurant. Cross the grassy hill on the right and follow the path lined with hedges. Turn left at the end, go down [steep slope] and follow the path to the left to follow a pasture.
10 At the end of the pasture, slow down, [Entrée d'habitation] go down gently to the left and take the first street on the right, continue to the intersection. win in front
the Voie Verte and join the start on the right.
