La Famenne – VTT FFC n°28

D/A Go along the post office towards the river stop via rue du Quai de Meuse. Take the 1st street on the right and follow the Houille stream for 300m.
1 Take Boulevard Bourck to the left.
2 After the bridge, take the 2nd street on the right and follow the Moulin Boreux hiking trail along the Houille for 1,6 km (anti-vehicle gate at the start of the trail).
3 At the crow's feet, turn left (mountain bike connection to route 27 on the right). Reach the village via rue de la Manufacture.
4 Turn right opposite the Fromelennes kiosk then left onto rue de Félixpré (access to the Grotte de Nichet). Continue and leave Fromelennes. Pass in front of an imposing farmhouse (former Félixpré abbey). Be careful at the intersection with a busy secondary road. Continue on the gravel path alongside the old customs house.
5 Follow the dirt road to the left, pass a kennel and climb the Gyptienne rural road on the edge of the wood.
6 At the intersection, follow the logging road on the left (viewpoint over Givet and the Meuse). At the next intersection, continue opposite then turn left to go down towards Givet (vehicle exit at the end of the descent).
7 Follow rue de Famenne on the left and immediately turn right to go down to the gymnasium. At the intersection, turn right into rue du Paradis along la Houille. At the end of the street, turn left and return to the starting point.
