The village of Chooz, in the Ardennes, is particularly linked to the history of French civil nuclear power.
In 1967, Chooz A was the first pressurized water reactor commissioned in France.
The latter has been in the process of being dismantled since 1991. Since then, 2 reactors have been built on the Chooz B site. The Public Information Center of the Chooz B nuclear power plant invites you to discover how this nuclear power plant works.
